Same here. They made some terrible calls in favor of the Lakers. But honestly, I like it, because I'd rather play the Lakers than the Jazz.

If you go to the finals vs. LA you would remember Utah...

Actually if the Lakers vs. Celtics finals happens, the last thing on my mind will be Utah.

Exactly. Although I do agree the Jazz are a good team.

tombattor, I cannot believe you didn't rip anyone for mentioning the reffing  8)
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

Well, I don't care about complaining about other games. I just don't want to hear people blaming our poor play on reffing.

Besides, all my hate and disgust is focused on Cassell. Not enough to go around to those people...

Crying about over the back fouls not being called? Thats some b*tch stuff anyways. Even though it pisses me off that Gasol would be the one to get away with the hand in the back, when he would definitely be the type of guy to go sprawling at the slightest touch if someone did the same to him.

Too true. I agree the poor play cannot be blamed on reffing...we got spanked in game 3 because we didn't show up and lost game 4 cos we couldn't deliver at the end of the game. But some egregious instances, like games 4 and 6 of the Hawks series, stick with me. Ah well
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

Its the Utah Jazz. Of anything you can complain about, complaining that the other team had some pushes in the back is the main one? It would be like the Cavs and Varejo complaining that the Celtics won only because the refs called a flop in favor of the Cs.

weird...i thought i was the only one who was upset at the no calls on the blatant pushes on gasol. the commentators didnt say a word, my friend didnt say anything, i thought i was jus trippin, but they were two HUGE pushes at CRUCIAL moments. who knows what happens if ONE of those is called like they shoulda been.

pathetic job by the refs again! i think its clear to see that the NBA would be happy for a LAL/clev finals.

Wrong. NBA would love nothing more than to see the Celtics/Lakers finals. If the NBA is rigged any way, it's to make that happen. Which means, we should be getting every conspiracy calls.

Does the NBA somehow punish commentators or analysts for pointing out blatant crappy officiating? I hear somebody say something every so often and it's like every one else just kind of shuts up, like it's taboo to discuss officiating, especially in critical plays. I mean, the Gasol non-calls were totally ridiculous. It was hysterical they kept showing the replay, and not one announcer or studio guy would take the bait and comment on the officiating. wtf?!? who do they think they're fooling?
