TA has played better with us then Cassell has. TA has a positive PER differential and has a better +/- numbers. So to say TA has had every chance is inaccurate. Cassell has screwed up worse in his chances and has all of TA's minutes.
The problem is it takes Doc 6 months to determine if a guy is any good. Now by adding Sam at the end of the season Doc won't "figure out" he doesn't have it till its too late.

I miss TA.

Unfortunately this is true... Can we tie Doc and Cassell up to an anchor and throw them in a river? We can pull them out after the playoffs.

I completely agree with mang, darrendaye, and those who say that TA should play before Cassell. TA is erratic but he's possibly our most aggressive and consistently physical player. He is always in attack mode and like darren stated, the dude is a warrior. His game is perfect for playing on the road because he's a ball of energy and he plays the type of game that can really fire up his team.
I think that the poster who stated that TA may not be getting PT for contract reasons may be on to something. It just seems absolutely ridiculous that a guy like Cassell has been given as many chances as he has and TA can't get a sniff. It's not like Cassell is dominating out there. Something isn't right.

I hate to think that Tony is not seeing action to "de-value" him as a restricted free agent this summer.
Of course, the fear would be if Tony shows something in the playoffs, somebody with a mid-level throws him a contract simply because they have it to spend.
But I'd love to see Tony given the chance to make some steals, make some plays, get rebounds, and play good.
And, I'd like to see Eddie first off the bench to hoist up some 3 pointers. When Eddie's on, there's no stopping him with that quick release.
And, should Tony or Eddie not be on, then Sam Cassell can come in.
But only AFTER Tony and Eddie have had their opportunity to shine.
