well, i hate guys who talk trash before a series even starts, on the c's board. That's just assinine.

I mean, really, what was the pt?

I know, just to be a troll jerk......and he got owned.

hope he stays on the pistons board rest of series.

I still think this is a 6-7 game series, 50/50 on winner.

Naw, the Lakers have a better team than the Celts. The Lakers Big 3 core is better and their role players are better.

Rondo should play 40 minutes EVERY GAME.

Ray just needs to hit one jumper and his shot will be back on and he'll start hitting those midrange pullups and WIDE open 3's. I think his foot work is the main reason for the slump, its choppy right now and hes not setting himself up like he used to getting into rhythm before he catches the ball.

From what I've seen Ray doesn't need to be hitting his jumper to help the team. He's done pretty well at the rim and making decisions that get other guys good looks.

He's Ray Allen, if it's a smart shot he has to take it, but there were a couple times on fast breaks where he's spotting at the 3 point line where I thought he could have faked a three then get to the rim or just simply get to the rim without the fake. He doesn't have to shoot three's or jumpers all the time.

Ray is imporant though. If he hits his shots like he was during the season the game is a blowout. Our defense is ridiculous when they are playing as a team.

Except for the fact no one but Kobe really plays D. Pau is a horrible man defender, and who's the other part? Odom? Riiigggghht.

This pic of made baskets in the paint says it all. The Pistons can't beat the Celtics if they don't attack the basket.

I don't think anyone can say ray had a bad game even with the shooting %... he was a +14 after all

The Lakers Big 3 core is better

KG > Gasol
Pierce > Odom

Kobe > Allen

So the Celtics have a better "big 3", it's not even close, plus their defense is a hell of a lot better than the Lakers.

Nonetheless, the Lakers are legit, and a great team.

I was certainly right about celtics fans being upset with officiating. Everyone other post in the first half with someone crying.

I also said that if Detroit can keep Pierce and KG to 20 or less each, which each shooting less than 50% Detroit would win. They could not slow them down tonight.

Pistons are still in good shape. No one expected them to win both in Boston. If they can't win game 2 than its time to worry.

Not really. But if they would lose one at home, then it would be time.

Dude, even Van Gundy thought a lof of those calls were utter crap...or were you watching with the volume off.

And for the record, apart from a few calls, I thought it was OK.
It's still 17 to 11!!!!
