Against Detroit, we can put him on Lindsey Hunter on the defensive end and he can post up either Hunter or Stuckey which he is best at. He'll also do a better job of getting the ball up the court and getting us into our offense. I felt that House was the better option in the first 2 series, but he struggles against Hunter and Cassell is probably the better option at backup pg against Detroit. Lastly, if Detroit has Hunter/Stuckey in the backcourt, I wouldn't mind seeing Cassell/House out there as well.

I don't know about that because Rodney Stuckey was one of the guys that killed us last night. How in the world is Cassell going to stay with him? If Cassell guards him, they'll do what the Cavs did with Daniel Gibson. Run iso and have Rodney Stuckey eat Cassell up.

I think we need to use TA to guard Stuckey because he's obviously their big offensive weapon off the bench and limiting his offense will significantly increase our chance of winning one of the next 2 games.

Like I said in my post, put Cassell on Lindsey Hunter. Hunter wouldn't burn Cassell that much.

Yeah, I guess you're right. I just don't trust Cassell... If he can just bring up the ball and run our offense, then I think it could work.

The thing is, he won't do that. He'll bring it up...dribble, dribble some more, dribble around some more...and then jack up a shot with 4 left on the shot clock with two or three guys in his face. THAT'S why I (and tombattor) don't trust him!

And as you said before, tombattor, he doesn't play a lick of D, which will kill us if last night is any indication!
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

Yeah, that's the problem. Yes, it's a good idea to have Cassell bring up the ball against pressure, but what good is it for our offense, if he just pounds the ball and spends the entire shot clock, trying to post up his guy and look for his shot while everyone else stands around?
