ESPN Commentators are very biased.

While I miss Mike and Tommy, I can't believe people are pissing and moaning about the ESPN guys. Personally, I think they are fine and don't see any bias and I have heard Breen get excited about plenty of Celtic plays.
You can't compare national broadcasters to the local guys, particularly Mike and Tommy. They are of course going to be overly critical of the Celtics and excited of the other team. Just like they will be critical of the Cavs or Pistons and excited about the Celtics. THEY ARE NATIONAL BROADCASTERS!!!!!
And to be honest, the Celtics up and down play these playoffs deserves every bit of critical analysis it gets.

It'd be great to have those guys doing the game and the TNT overtime crew doing pre, half and post-game. Best of both worlds.

I couldn't agree more. We need Tommy calling national playoff games again! He can team with JVG.

This is such BS. ESPN has given the Celtics about 75% more coverage than any other team. Celtics this, Celtics that. ESPN2 had a special, for chrissakes.
As for Breen/LeBron, announcers announce. LeBron does special things, and Breen's voice will get high when he does them. Breen didn't want Cleveland to win. He doesnt want Detroit to win. The NBA doesn't. ESPN doesn't. They all want a Celtics-Lakers Finals.
I love the disproportionate amount of Celtics coverage, but to suggest there's an anti-Celtic bias is so delusional, I really want you give me your dealer's number.

Only thing that got me a little ticked off about last nights commentary was when Posey fouled Stuckey on the break and Breen was like, "OHHHH HARD FOUL, THAT COULD BE A FLAGRANT!!!!"...but Van Gundy covered him during the replay saying, "That's a simple good hard foul."

I really wish I recorded last night's game. The banter between Gundy and Jackson had me on the floor, along with some zingers for Breen:
*Breen shoehorns "trajectory" into his play-by-play*
Breen: "That's a difficult word to say."
Jackson: "It is...for you."
And a ton of others. JVG is a riot.
Noah wouldn't let me.
