The Guard Play was Awful Tonight

Post#1 » by Jammer » Tue May 27, 2008 4:54 am

On a night when Paul Pierce was 3-14;

Ray Allen (bad)

Rajon Rondo (stunk)

and Sammy Clang Cassell (retired yet) played piss poor;

The Celtics did not look like an NBA Champion capable team tonight.

Sadly, when Rajon and Sammy stunk up the joint worse than Ray;

Tony didn't even get a chance. Bummer.

Doc is playing the guys he trusts to go to the right place on the court, especially but not only on defense, even if they get there too late.

Since when does Sam have better defensive technique than Eddie (or Tony, who I don't want to give minutes to)?

Plus, isn't Sam the one the coach said *still* didn't know the plays, going into the playoffs?
