Congrats guys. Who would've thought that both the Celtics and the Lakers would be in the finals a year ago? Amazing season, and it's great to see both franchises back on their feet. So looking forward to this series.

Best of luck in the Finals, though I kinda hope you lose

One of the best seasons in a long time will be capped off by a Finals matchup for the ages. Gotta love it.

Congratulations Boston.

I'm not going to lie or sugar coat this; I'm not exactly a fan of your team or it's fans. In fact I don't like you at all. And frankly I'm rooting for LA to kick the crap out of you. And I don't think there is anything wrong with that. I think it makes sports more interesting when two cities really dislike each other. I don't wanna hold your hand and sing Kumbaya while we roast marshmellows.

But you shouldn't care if I like you or not. It's not about being "liked". It's about being respected. The sort of respect you earn by winning. By being the better team. And you were clearly the better team. Not just this series, but all year long.

So yeah, I don't like you. At all. But I respect you. And IMO that is far more significant. So congratulations. You've earned it.

I don't speak for celtic nation, but thanks for the respect and know that both the hate and the respect is mutual. Hopefully our teams can meet at this junction for the next 4-5 years (given players ages). Your team has promising young studs (Stuckey, Maxiel) and a very good core, all you guys need is a coach that gets their attention and gets them playing with intensity every game instead of allowing them to go through the motions. Every game is not just another game like your team seems to think. Anyways good luck next year when you face the defending champs Boston Celtics in a rematch of the ECF.
