Agreed, if Rondo can handle Fisher we can prob win this series

Oh wow. What do you people expect? We haven't been here in a long long time, and now you expect us to win the ECF after all the hating from dumb NBA fans and the media who has a sexual affair with the LeBrons and the Kobes.

I think you guys hate cause your teams won't be in this position for a long time.

From second worst record to best, and backing it up going to the finals. Who cares if it took 7 games to beat the Cavs and the Hawks? And a beat up Detroit? They didn't look beat up at all. And who in the world is 100% at this point?

Now, is Kobe the MVP? Yes. Did he deserve it? Absolutely. Have we handled him before this season? Yes, twice. And the Spurs were beat up, apparently no one sees that. And that ONE no call changed everything, so don't act like it's an irrelevant non call. The refs were absolutely horrible against Boston too, and we still beat Detroit.

You guys hate cause we had this huge turn around with Ainge's trade, and forget that Memphis gave Gasol to the Lakers.

BEAT LA.

Experience is overated? I beg to differ.

Not to mention that Rondo has been VERY inconsistant throughout the playoffs...Do you think a player with no experience and who has already been very inconsistant in the playoffs shows that experience is overated?

or maybe Rondo is just overated? (Which i don't think so...he is a good defender and gets his temates invovled...i think he should look for his shot a little more often...but i think its the experience factor in why he is doing pretty bad)

I dunno, i think the Lakers have a huge edge with Fisher....

And to the other guy, i'm not a troll, i have been on topic with my posts and have been honest with my posts and am not just saying "boston sucks lolz, kobe is the best lolz, scalabrine is the best player lolz"

I mean i don't think im trolling, if i am...then i apoligize for that...Not looking to start flame wars...just here to talk basketball

No offense Ricky, but do you really think Boston deserves big props for taking 6 games to beat a banged up Detroit team and winning 3 road games in the playoffs?

just like LA deserves props for beating an injury depleted Spurs team.

THANK YOU! A win is a win, regardless of how the injury situation played out. Huge props to L.A. for beating the Spurs, no matter who was injured. Ditto for the Cs against Detroit. Injuries are what they are: no one can control them. It's a catch-22: The same people who rip a team for beating another team with injuries would be the first to criticize a team for NOT capitalizing on a rivals injuries.

Some people are so annoying....

To need to push a game 7 with the Hawks and the Cavs who are just a 1 player team is prettty ridiculous. (Especially with the amount of Talent that boston has)

The Lakers are a legit team, Congrats you beat detroit in 6 when their 2 best players were injured.

I honestly think (and hope) the Lakers win...If Boston is going to beat LA...Ray Allen needs to continue his good shooting from the passed 2 games..and Rondo needs to step it up.

Posey/Pierce and company need to find an answer for Kobe too (which i dont see happining)

Would like to see if they try the same thing they tried with Lebron defensive wise...They cant do that because Kobe has other weapons...Im not sure if Boston will win...Very good team...and i know im a knicks fan so my opinion is automatcially swayed away from boston..lol ..but just saying my 2c

And how many people are forgetting that you guys beat Detroit? didnt that happen like...14 hours ago? lol

Edit: Please dont take this comment as trolling, i'm not trying to start anything....yes i know the knicks suck...i sense that coming...whatever...Im just saying my 2c because its the Finals

This would actually matter had billups and hamilton not had great games. I dont think either could have played any better together in that game, they carried that team.

Fisher does have the resume but that alone does not give him a >>>>>> advantage. Experience is overrated because if you don't have the physical tools to back it up you won't be able to take advantage of it. That's like saying that veterans are better than young guys just because they are veterans. How did experience help out Kidd? Now I am not saying Rondo is CP3 cause he's not, but he has similar skill sets (minus the offensive game). Fisher is a 34 year old shooting guard, and IF Rondo plays to his abilities he will look a lot older. It's not a huge advantage but Rondo clearly has it.

The regular season is a larger sample than the playoffs. The Celtics had a historic point differential. That regular season is a better judge of what the potential of this team is.

On this I agree......perhaps the Hawks were just not a good matchup for the celtics but the fact is they did find a way to win....just like they found a way to beat the NBA "icon" Lebron James then beat the always tough Pistons.

The Lakers beat a Nuggets team they were supposed to beat......beat a tough at home lousy on the road physical Jazz team.....then beat the champions (even with Manu injured it is not easy to close out a champion who they themselves outlasted some good teams to make it to the WCF)

the bottom line is the is where we are.....Lakers and Celtics exactly as it should be because these are the two best teams.

Fair Arguement...but we are going ot have to agree to disagree on this one...because i still think Fisher (right now) has the edge.

Fisher is still a very good defender...and has a high basketball IQ...and can knock down clutch shots..

Rondo Will be a solid player IMO...i just dont think he is matured enough to help run this Boston Offense...( i coudl be totally wrong and he could come out finals MVP) i cant tell the future...just saying my 2c and my opinion.

Return to Boston Celtics
