I was being sarcastic. Personally, I don't expect apologies for another decade or so.

Since it was the Celtics, there'd be no apology anyway. I just finished re-reading Red and John Feinstein's book "Let Me Tell You a Story" and Red has stories about how the league has **** the C's over since the 1950s....so it's nothing new.

Luckily we persevered and won...bring on the Lakers!
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

The Defender was already in the air so he has a right to come down, but the offensive player instead move laterally INTO him, Pierce completely initiated the contact, I'd understand if Pierce had done it before Prince was completely in the air but he didn't.

And it was a travel anyways.

...wow. If you actually pay attention to the play, Pierce moved as little as anyone I've seen when trying to "initiate contact," which is what offensive players do all the time and still get this call. This was more egregious than the non-call on Brent Barry. But I guess that was fair, too?

Bennet is a disgrace. He is easily one of the 3 worst officials in the game and the fact that he is rewarded with playoff appearances for it shows that he is likely attempting to manipulate or influence outcomes per the wishes of the commissioners office.

I only did this for the second half of game 6 but I know I felt the same way watching him all postseason. But if you track the whistles he hardly blows the damn thing except when he goes into this run of making one sided calls to influence momentum. Then once the Pistons can't capitalize, he starts blowing the whistle again against them so there is no paper bias. But you can tell even the players know what is happening they don't even bother to argue, he is the living breathing homecourt advantage.
