Probably because SAS never has a clue what comes out of his mouth. He's the new Don King, a loudmouth who likes to think he is entertaining and enlightening. Only reason I watch him and Bayless is for entertainment value. Those two have about as much real basketball knowledge combined as Chris Wallace.
I hate SAS, but changing your prediction after the clear favorite has significantly altered their roster since the beginning of the season isnt crazy, it makes sense.
He is basically saying he liked the C's in the beginnging of the year, but adding Gasol to Kobe and Odom just make them too much for the C's to handle.
I hope he's wrong (like he usually is) but changing his stance isnt complete lunacy like you guys make it out to be.

SAS picked boston to win it all in the preseason. So far his prediction is on the track to be right, who changes when their team is still in it??
SAS wants to have Kobe's baby, just like Scoop Jackson (did anyone else read that utterly RIDICULOUS "thirst" article he wrote on monday?) and all the media whores.
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

Well, if mike golic says celtics in 7, I shrug my shoulders and say ok, good. He doesn't know a lot but whatever.
But when these guys who know as little as mike golic, guarantee a lakers victory, it gets me a little fired up.
It doesn't matter who they are. Whether it is a screaming SAS, or a great writer on realgm, anybody going against your team will get your blood boiling.

And last year's wasn't???!!! Lakers-Nets and Spurs-Nets weren't?
