Doc didn't complain about you sucking vs Atl..Cleveland and a bit of Detroit. Now that you're swagger is back it's all cool

You should check out Ray's post-game presser on nba.com. He wasn't complaining. He was just answering to a reporter who asked why he didn't get the ball in the fourth. Ray said what he said, but he also added that he has total confidence in Pierce, KG, House, Pose and whoever else that was on the floor to make their shots. But tonight, Ray Allen was easily our best player and we should've put the ball in his hands because he was ON.

This was a case where Doc's inexperience cost us the game. Ray should've gone for 40 because when he's been on like that in the past in Seattle and Milwaukee, he usually got 40 and nailed a bunch of game winners to boot. Doc should've never pulled Ray. That was his worst coaching move of this postseason by far.

So he should be happy with Doc taking him out, when he was carrying the team by himself the whole game? We didn't go to Ray once down the stretch.

How about going to what works?

But then Doc is the same guy, who's playing Cassell, even as he's doing his best to flush our title hopes down the toilet...

Do you all realize how dumb this sounds? I am being serious here. Ray Allen played 42 mins and was not only this teams leading scorer, he spent what 85 % of his mins guarding the best scorer on the planet. And you want to hate on the coach for giving him a 2 min breather and not having him play the entire second half.

I do agree that we did not do enough to get him touches down the stretch and I think that this is the price we pay when we have Eddie House in the game and Paul running the offense.

Ok, so Doc took him out for a breather. That's fine. I have absolutely no problem with that, but why didn't he get another play called for him when he came back in? He was only carrying us for the entire game.

it lost us the game. when doc took ray out, i said, "there we go, mark down a L for game 3 just b/c doc took ray out when he was our ONLY good option."

it was stupid. even I could coach better than that. KG & PP were HORRIBLE last night & ray was actually amazing, then doc takes him out, he loses his rhythm & we lose. pathetic

Ray was stellar last night.

I really think KG and PP let him down, the team, and themselves down.

Sure the Lakers had something to do with it but for the most part both KG and PP limited themselves.

Ray carried us all game and we really needed one of the other 2 "Big 3" to wake up offensively and it never happened.

I disagree. Powe is a reserve, and will be inconsistent. Yeah, he only played 6 minutes last night, but they weren't 6 good minutes, and just because he had 21 in game 2 means nothing in game 3.

I realize Powe is inconsistent. But last night KG was so perimeter oriented. We could of use Powe in there next to him. PJ Brown was pretty unspectacular last night and his offense consists of an elbow jumper. We needed someone to make plays in the paint.

Doc doesn't call plays from the bench. The only time he runs a set play is out of timeouts. The players run their offense and obviously it doesn't run as well with Paul playing the point, we only end up using the strong side of the court. So unless the team reverses the ball or Ray comes and gets it he can get frozen out.

Doc could put the ball in Ray's hands but that isn't going to get him his shots. Obviously running plays for Ray would make things better for him but Doc has said it doesn't make the team better. Ray filling the role he does in the offense they run makes the team better.

Now if we have no Rondo as bad a time as it is to change the offense Doc may not have much of a choice.
