Celtics.com will probably have info up as soon as possible. I am pretty sure it will be a lottery. I will not go because of being busy, I got lucky last time with the lottery, I say if you have nothing to do, might as well wait in line. Try your luck with the lotto.

I might try over the phone or on the internet, that is nearly impossible though.

Yeah, 200, that is what I was last game. You would have got tickets, probably not for game 6 though. Game 7, which we don't even know if their will be one. Hopefully not.

Edit: What was the lady doing?

I got there at 10ish and we were 400ish in line. They released way less for these two games than the last time. I wish they would tell you how many they were releasing so you don't stand there like an idiot not knowing the status of anything.

I was about 20th the first time and got lucky.

Sorry, I didn't see these posts...had to work this morning.

I don't think there is any reason not to post it here. The trick is that most of the phone numbers for Ticketmaster go to a main call center, the 800 numbers and major market numbers. However, some numbers go to local offices. You can find this list with a basic google search. You need to find a number for an office that is far away from the event you want to get tickets for (ie if its in Boston call Idaho; my Vegas tickets I get from Vermont). The system the use is a national system so any office can buy any tickets. Call a couple of times to get the timing down since you will still have to contend with some sort of automated attendant before getting to a person. Call in around 5 minutes before the tickets go on sale and get the ticket rep on your side (tell them how important they are to you and your sick father or brother; life long dream, etc.) and have them ready to get those tickets the minute it goes on sale. then ask them "so how do you know when it is 11:00 and you can get in your system to reserve them? What time does your screen say now? And keep them on their toes. Tell them to tell you when it is 'that time'...Be ready to log into the Ticketmaster website at the exact time (have the request in and be on the screen to enter the security words). the more attempts the better, since it is still luck in the end.

If you have a good personality or story, most of the reps will want to help you out. The last time I did this for Delahoya v Mayweather, the guy processed the tickets and then we started trying again for more and got a second pair. I also, got the timing down and got a pair on the website while I had him on the phone.

Sorry again for the delay, it was late last night. Good luck in the future.

Thanks Collinto. It's just too bad that today was the last day that tickets will go on sale for this entire season, but I will definitely try it in the future.
