Van Gundy is great, though, and Mark Jackson is good, too.

But Breen is **** awful, in my opinion.

Your 100% right Breen is Trash and hates us

Rocky5000 wrote:I hope that whiny he-she Vujacic doesn't have the same pull as Mark Cuban:
Lakers' guard Sasha Vujacic believes that the Celtics have been playing too rough through the first five games of the NBA Finals, according to The Los Angeles Daily News.

"Phil (Jackson) told me after the game that he thought I was a bit emotional. And I think he was right; I didn't manage it right," Vujacic said. "It all started from that poke in the eye (by Celtics' guard Sam Cassell). I got a little bit mad because the ref was right there, and he didn't call it."

Sasha believes that Boston gets away with quite a bit.

"They (Boston) foul a lot. They get away with a lot of fouls," Vujacic said. "When we go back to Boston, we know that they are going do a lot of moving picks like they do, and they're probably going to get away with it. But we got to stay smart, stay focused, and play with poise."

I wonder what Vujacic would be doing with Rip Hamilton on him if Det won, Rip almost killed Ray I cant imagine a series of Rip/Sasha. And how can Vujacic complain after the game the refs gave them in SA and the no call on Kobes "steal" Sunday night. I hope we put them away tonight and shut them up for good

There is a site that was posted here before that shows the stats for refs, the home calls, away calls, and other info about them...would anyone know what that site is?

thanks
Dwight Howard on his FT struggles:

"I just think everybody needs to stop talking about it," Howard said. "There's more to life than free throws."

Yep, particularly JVG. He's been really good. I think he just loves the Celtics style of play. I think ex-NBA coaches make the best analysts.

Prior to the NBA finals, I believe, the Lakers were undefeated in home games. Then Boston defeated them in game four in Rocky-esque fashion. Tonight, the Celtics know that they can lose at home in the playoffs; they'd to Detroit in the conference finals. Therefore, the pressure should be off of Boston heading into game six knowing that you can't take these home games for granted. And I expect them not to. I'm hoping for a thrashing and a collective kicking in the brains of the Lakers en route to finally closes the series out. I write finally because in retrospect you could argue that if calls and happenings had fallen this way and not the other way. Boston could've swept this series. I know... It's all about the TV rating. Still, the Celtics aren't competing against the second best team in the league this season, in my opinion. The Lakers were very fortunate to clinch home court advantage throughout the western conference playoffs and, of course, acquire Pau Gasol in the second half of the regular season.

As far as the refs go as much as I hate seeing Bennet the fixer involved he is a homer. Crawford and Rush are both homers. Beyond that the C's are 5-0 against the spread.

Interesting TrueHoop interviews with Bennett Salvatore from last November, in case you haven't read them yet: http://myespn.go.com/blogs/truehoop/0-28-286/The-Salvatore-Side-of-the-Story--Referee-Bennett-Salvatore-Speaks.html

I can see it now: Ray Allen up-fakes Fisher (on the 3 point attempt at the buzzer for the tie)...Fisher lands on Ray's shoulder---No Call by Joey Crawford!.....or maybe...Offensive foul on Ray called by Salvatore.

Return to Boston Celtics
