Same here. I love all teams equally and have followed them my whole life, but if I *had* to choose one, it'd be the C's. It's the only team I followed with my dad, and even though I played baseball for years, I played hoops longer and it's my favorite sport, just barely edging baseball and football.

Tonight is no different!!!

To me having the C's win the title will be more sweeter than when the Pats and Sox won. I love the 3 teams pretty evenly but the C's have a slight edge.
BEAT LA

I really can't stand it either - to the point that I kind of feel like even if we win, it won't even be worth the pain and frustration of the losses and the apprehension!
I just want us to win, so it will feel like less pressure next year and in the next decade, annd I won't have to feel this miserable until another 20 year drought happens. It's pathetic but personally I think it would have been easier if we were just in the lottery again.
I'm working nights for this week - I was working nights for Game 2, so I'll watch games 6 and 7 on sopcast again which worked out well last time. Games 1 and 3 are the only one i've watched in its entirety in the finals, 2 I saw most of, game 4 I missed the first half and got mad when I came home and saw the score and went to bed, game 5 I watched the first quarter, quit, then watched most of the 2nd half. It's pathetic but it's all just too painful.

LOL this shows just how hard it is for us fans. The last 2 games where we looked horrible in the 1st qtr sure doesn't help. If we get this win, any other championships that follow with this current team will just be bonuses and there will definitely be less pressure. END IT TONIGHT!
EDIT: Let me say this though, I'm starting to feel pretty relaxed. I thought about it earlier and I feel that if we cant win 1 of 2 at home then we dont even deserve to be champs. We are going to win so lets enjoy this.

Add me to this list. The morning after game 5 I wondered aloud to my girlfriend "how I ever got through previous playoff series before I was old enough to drink?' There's no way I can do this sober.
"I can tell you my testicles are the same size," he added later. "They haven't shrunk. They're the same and work just the same as they always have." - Barry Bonds disputing allegations of steroid use.

Aw yeah, this was THE OFFICAL reverse woof, anti-jinx thread!!!!!
It's all gravy now, we can enjoy this for the next year, if we can repeat it's great, if not, try again next year. But banner 17 is FINALLY THERE. And the greatest turnaround ever is completed, the story is completed perfectly.
