It's really nice to see this team reacting so emotionally...

It's been a long time since I've seen a team this outwardly and unabashedly emotional, so full of pure and total joy, and so over-the-top full of unbridled, almost child-like excitement about winning an NBA championship. The Shaq-Kobe Lakers were never this emotional about it. The Duncan Spurs were never this emotional about it. The 2006 Heat weren't. The 2004 Pistons weren't. This is really the first time this decade that I have seen a team really get emotional about a championship. One of the most emotional all-around reactions to a championship in any sport I've ever seen, really.

And it's just really nice to see it. Every team that wins a championship should be this excited, but sadly, they aren't.

I'm a Bulls fan first and foremost, but I have been routing for you guys #2 all season long, and I couldn't be happier that the team that's reacting this way is the one with KG, Pierce, and Allen on it. They all deserved rings.

Especially with KG, you could really tell throughout the playoffs that he was holding everything in. When you guys won the Pistons series, he said he was 'neutral' about getting to the finals. Nobody believed that, but I think he just didn't want to celebrate anything other than a championship. He's been holding it in for a long time, and I think his reactions tonight are just letting it all out. And you know what? I think putting up 26/14 in a closeout game to win a championship narrows the gap between him and Duncan somewhat.

Nothing needs be said about Pierce - he's been one of the most underappreciated players in the league for years and he's finally getting his due.

Allen has shown that he is the best shooter in this league bar none and one of the great shooters of all time, and now he will be remembered for that always, and he'll be remembered for doing it in a time when good shooting was becoming a thing of the past for the NBA.

Even the role players - Rondo and Perkins and Posey and PJ have been invaluable throughout the playoff run, even Sam I Am and Powe and House, etc.

Yeah, it's great to see a team, and this team in particular, get so emotional about just winning.
