DA Goodwill

Post#1 » by LongTimeFan » Thu Jun 26, 2008 4:57 pm

Clearly, there are certain teams that have an almost symbiotic relationship with the Celtics. Phoneix and Minnesota are the two most obvious cases. I have no doubt that Mchale can call up DA and get his honest opinion on who they should draft and how he projects that player. Is Mayo that good and that good a fit?

How valuable is that to Minnesota?

I doubt that the relationship is that close with Suns, but I'm sure the two teams have a working relationship.

We may not have a dog in this fight, but I bet we're still gaining ground. DA's expertise at spotting future talent is not going to be wasted.

I *highly* doubt Danny is going to be dishing out advice to other teams when he's busy trying to build the winner of #18 now...

Add Portland, Detroit, and Seattle to that list. Portland and Seattle have about 9 picks between them.
