Ainge has had more consistent success (can't count this year, yet) with the players who's draft rights were acquired as rookies then those that were drafted. Everyone he has acquired... Turned into good players or have the potential to be a good player in time. I'm just saying, that's awesome that Ainge has been able to find a way so to speak.

The good thing about the Walker deal is you can recoup money lost, but a wasted pick is a wasted pick.


2003

2006

First round - #7 Randy Roye
Second round - owned by Minnesota

Acquired the draft rights of #21 Rajon Rondo from Phoenix.
Acquired the draft rights of #49 Leon Powe from Denver.

2007

First round - #5 Jeff Green
Second round - #32 Gabe Pruitt

Acquired the draft rights of #35 Glen Davis from Seattle.

2008

First round - #30 J.R. Giddens
Second round - #60 Semih Erden

Acquired the draft rights of #47 Bill Walker from Washington.
