FA PG we should sign

Post#1 » by Celtic King » Tue Jul 8, 2008 1:10 am

Shaun Livinston. I know he could be a huge injury risk, but if he can/has recovered from his terrible knee injury, this could be a home run. Ainge has always liked the kid. A truely talented 6'7" point guard, playing behind Rondo which takes a lot of pressure off of him to be the guy. We can bring him along slower than most teams as he would only need to play a max of 10-15min per game.

If his knee doesn't allow him to be a star, we still have cover with Pruitt. What other team could or would take the risk like the C's. We have our starting PG for the next decade in Rondo. He will probably take Tony Allen type money ($2.4mil) and if he is still a bust we have not used that much that it really matters.

Ok, what are your thoughts?
