I was at the red carpet for the Espys. It was pretty fun, and boy is KG tall. He made everyone but Oden look like a midget. Most of the Celtics came out together, but KG arrived later and was all smiles, looking like the nutcase we all know him to be, fistpumping for no reason, etc. It was great.

All the C's got booed by the outdoor crowd so they didn't hang too long on the carpet. It was pretty classless, really, I mean, if you don't like a player, don't clap or cheer. There were plenty of athletes I don't like that I just casually applauded for out of respect. Kobe never walked the red carpet even though he was promised by the producers. I probably wouldn't have clapped for him since I just think so little of him as a person. The crowd should have booed him and the other Lakers if they had bothered to show up (only Fish) because they blew it so bad in the Finals.

Not that many celebs. My only real observations were that Steve Nash is not 6'3, Adriana Lima is way too skinny and has gigantic teeth, and Kendra Wilkinson is a skeletor with big fake cans. Also, Danica Patrick looked really good.

My wife took some pics, I'll try to upload the couple shots of the Celtics arriving later. What do y'all use as an image host around here, anyway?

Honestly, why boo a guy for being a good player? Maybe boo Kobe for being a sonofabitch and making a fool out of his family and his team over the years.

For example, if we had lost to Cleveland, I wouldn't be booing Lebron.

Rajon's wife/gf or whatever did have a baby semi-recently. Sometimes that "rounds things out" quite a bit.

I'd forgotten just how terrible Linkin Park is. It's especially bad when that white guy is doing those goofy sounding raps.

I probably shouldn't be so hard on that band, they are clearly marketed to the 12-16yo demographic, and I liked some goofy music at that age, too.

But man, video was good but I had to mute that garbage song, lol.

sarah, that song is aight, good in regards to soundtracking a team montage, my only gripe is that I hated the cuts from the C's to the band.

Yep, I understand what your saying. I mean strahan beat the pats, but every time he gives his goofy ass grin, I can't boo and just have to laugh.

Pretty good this year. KG still excited, pierce and ray, and the team got a kick out of it.

And at the end when keifer sutherland was talking to sam cassell. Ha. What the?? Your choice of three stars and you go chat it up with sam I am. I just found that part funny.
