Leon Powe

Post#1 » by WHambone » Tue Sep 30, 2008 12:18 am

I ran into Leon at gamestop at the Natick Mall yesterday . I shook his hand and told him to kick ass this year. one thing that struck me was he isn't very big (for NBA standards) it's no secret that he's undersized but when you see an NBA player up close you KNOW he plays for the NBA. I never got that impression from Leon he was just another guy at the mall. I guess my point is you know or rather I know he has to bust his ass to play in the big leagues I have to say I'm more impressed with his game after seeing him up close.

You lucky SOB. When I saw him at the media day last year for season ticket holders he looked big, maybe I'm just too short.
