Miles looked pretty good in the limited minutes last night. Got 2 blocks, 4 boards and the 1 time that he has been isolated so far he blew by his defender and got to the line (although he missed both). He needs to lose about 10 pounds though...if the Celtics decide to keep him they should put him in a conditioning boot camp with Doo during his 10 game suspension.

Big Baby finally had a good game. Looks like he worked on the jumper during the offseason. He just needs to take it when he's open...so far he's only taken it when the shot clock is running down and he's made most of his attempts.

Bill Walker is getting killed in that youtube video comments. I tried to bring a little persepective but everyone else is hating on him.

Much less talented? You cant be serious on this...

T-Mac = Pierce
Artest > Allen
Yao < KG
Scola > Perkins
Rafer = Rondo
Landry > Big Baby
Battier = Powe
Barry = House

T-Mac = Pierce would be true if TMac was something more than a one-dimensional player. I'd take Allen before Ron Ron just because he's likely to stay on the court, (and just maybe) he's not an idiotic head-case, felony waiting to happen...Perk is better on D, Scola on O, I think Battier>Powe, Rondo's a better fit for the C's for obvious reasons...

If Artest's IQ was greater than, say, 20, maybe his psychopathic, masochistic tendencies wouldn't case him to self destruct by mid-season and demand a trade, a raise, a brawl with a Houston player, etc.

I really like Ron

Nah thats cool, we in Houston know that Rafer is one of the most underrated and unappreciated players in the league. you obvioulsy dont know what kind of numbers he had last year.

Rafer
13.1 ppg
3.5 rpg
5.3 apg
1.3 spg

Rondo
10.6 ppg
4.2 rpg
5.1 apg
1.7 spg

there really isnt much difference. I know your next argument is gonna be Rondo's D, but Rafer is also one of the best pg defenders in the league. and hes a great leader

These greater than, less than, equal to stuff is absolute garbage IMO. The C's are more talented and durable at almost every position on the floor. At PG Rondo is the better athlete, defender, and floor general. At SG the Celtics are deeper and more durable. At SF, you have Pierce who is the #2 SF in th league in Pierce vs. two very good SF defenders. Pierce still gets the edge but those guys are definitely solid. At PF you have Garnett with two, very solid options behind him. I like Landry and Scola but like the SF position Quality bests quantity (though the Celtics are pretty strong at backup as well). At Center the Rockets have a clear advantage wit Yao. But he's also not a durable player. The Celtics are deeper here.

Overall the Celtics have more chemistry, durability and also have the better defense (as of right now...though Houston is one of the better D's in th league). I'd also say that Boston's star's burn much brighter than the Rockets, largely due to McGrady's health and spotty shot selection, Artest's inconsistency and Yao's health. Ray, Paul and KG are the more sure thing and in the playoffs that's what makes all the difference.

I think the Rockets are maybe individually better than us from roster spot 4-7, especially in the front court. But I would never, ever not in a million years, trade our Big 3 for their Big 3. And as in the NBA you only go as far as your Stars carry you I still see us above them in a hypothetical series.

Rondo
FG%: .492
TS%: .515
PER: 15.63

Alston:
FG%: .394
TS%: .492
PER: 13.30

Alston might be an above average defender, but Rondo is still better than him in that department/

TheSheriff, let us also not forget that Rondo is going into his third season. He's on an upward trend. Rafer is +30, he's not getting any better.
