Rondo has Ankle Sprain

Its the right ankle, mild sprain, fortunately, we have over a week off before the season even starts. The real question is, does this effect our keeping of another player like Sam on the roster and relasing someone else or does will this not cuase any effects other then Rondo skipping a bunch of pre-season practice.

I say sit him the rest of pre-season let it heal.

Doesn't sound serious. This is what he said afterwords,

"I'm cool, nothing major," Rondo said. "I'll just get some treatment and see how it is."

Asked if he would be playing if a regular-season game was scheduled, Rondo replied, "Yeah, probably so. I really don't even know [the cause of the injury]. I stepped sideways and came down on my ankle wrong. It was all me."

But I do agree, if he isn't absolutely 100%, let it heal and get the work done in practice. These games are meaningless. Give Sam some work.

He'll be fine, it was a quirky tweak. Does he tape his ankles? I always thought he did...

Tommy will yell at him if he doesn't tape his ankles
