TA is the single most frustrating player on this team personally. He makes so many bad plays on offense especially. I would say TA is also behind Perk,Powe,BBD and House. They can all do things for the team consistanly that help get wins. When has TA ever proven he do consistantly besides get hurt and turn the ball over at a high rate?

On occasion TA will dominate an NBA game. I'd say Powe and House have come close to doing that - but TA is the guy. The good Tony is a ballhawk on D - and can score on anyone at will in the league. If that wasn't enough he can set some people up for easy shots. Sure he turns the ball over alot - because he handles the ball alot. He is easily the third best shot creator on the team.. I'd say that's important for a second unit bench guy. He is like the PP/RA replacement..as he like those guys will create alot of offense for that unit.

Tony's problem is his consistency. But I would take him over BBD anytime. At least Tony is a prototype for his position whereas BBD is too fat and short to play center at a high level. Tony has upside.

I agree with you in many areas. He really drives me nuts though It's like he is holding a puzzle and at the end of putting the puzzle together he always looses a piece. Sometimes I think he becomes evil tony and just eats the piece!!.Scals or vealchop as I refer to him doesn't bother me, you know he jsut sucks.

If Pruitt were ready to be a reliable guy off the bench the celtics would of made Cassell an assistant coach and kept Miles on to see if he can fill that wing hole.

If Pruitt was not ready, I believe Doc would have given Cassell some pre-season play.

Funny comments about Cassell from Doc, who really wasn't all that supportive since he implied that Sam wasn't a slam dunk to be on the team, and from Ainge who said that pre-season time for Sam wasn't important because they knew what they could get from Sam. I find that odd, because apparently they didn't know what they'd get from Pierce since they played him so often in the pre-season. So I don't know if Danny was thinking - we know how bad he is, no point in having us show it again on the floor - or if he meant we know how good he is, which is odd since he slide down the depth chart as the playoffs went on and you'd have thought pre-season would have been valuable.

I believe that Sam remains on the roster solely in case he is needed late in the year, but will have DNP as long as players are healthy. Moving Sam from coach to player halfway through the year if needed I believe would have been viewed as a roster workaround, and would have been voided by the league. It wouldn't surprise me at all if Sam is waived during the year to move from part time to full time coach in order to free his roster spot.

To put it frankly Cassell is running on tires that don't have rims on them. Pierce is running in his prime. Cassell should never pre-season time. And Pruitt has to improve dramatically, if he does then we'll see Cassell cut and become a coach. And that only means that Doc believes he can trust Pruitt in the playoffs. Otherwise Cassell is to remain in the back-burner ast he third PG. No matter how you look at it, right now Pruitt is no where ready. And with House we might not even have a need for Pruitt.

O'Byrant in my mind is having the same thing done to him but he has shown so much more skill as well as there isn't a vet center we know of right now that could replace him in the playoffs [assuming PJ really is retired]

I wish we could relegate minutes the same way with Tony. Damn you Posey.
