Gotta be Paul, he was there throughout the entire game when he needed to be.

i always have a hard time picking anyone but pierce, but rondo's impact on every possession cannot be overstated, last night or any night

To me that is more the spirit of the award it is whose performance lead to the win not just who had the best game, it isn't just a player of the game award. What made the difference, who had the big 4th quarter, or did more than their average, or even just a game changing play? Pierce was awesome as he is many nights, but we still could have lost that game with the night he had. He only scored 2 points in the 4th quarter. Rondo and Tony Allen made the difference between a win and a loss, obviously they wouldn't have had that opportunity if it wasn't for Pierce's previous 3 quarters. I am not saying Paul isn't worthy but I just don't think it is the slam dunk that the vote total shows. If I voted for Paul it would have been for his defense on Lebron more than his own offense.
