Well then we can agree that LeBron is an arrogant jerk. I didn't look at 2007 so much as he made them better enough to get to the Finals as much as he dragged them along, 1 on 5 style. Big difference between that and Jordan/Bird, etc.

I never got bent out of shape over it, I just chalked it up to him doing more talking than winning, AGAIN.
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

No way LeBron's comments should go unnoticed by Celtics fans. However, the real culprit here is the media both locally and nationally. Because there's this idea that the fans care about what the opposing star player has to say about your team. Why ask [or should I write bait] these particular questions to a LeBron or Arenas or Billups when you know they're going to speak as an individual and not as a representative of his team. No, these star players see this as an opportunity to get on their soap box and vent or give the media food for fodder.

The media just has way too much close interaction with these NBA players. To me, you've a pre and post game press conference and maybe a few insightful comments at halftime. That should be it. Why do they need to talk to them at their locker stall or outside of the locker room or walking to the arena from the team bus or their vehicle and so forth. It's all excessive...

I agree, but doesn't LeBron share some responsibility here? No one *FORCED* him to mouth off, he did that of his own volition.

how did he even mouth off? Some of you people just find things to complain about out of thin air. Give me a break.

As for Lebron dragging his team along, maybe if he had a team to begin with. C'mon now.

So which is it? LeBron the Great who can drag **** to the Finals, or poor LeBron who has no team?
