Wouldnt Pierce be 34-35 when he is a free agent.

Im pretty sure you Celtic fans wouldnt mind since that should be around the time you guys will need to rebuild around the year 2012.

He should play for Panathinaikos. Here's their logo:

As a Greek American...I could care less. As long as he does it when he's washed up in the NBA and retires from the Celtics, it doesn't matter to me.

Physically, Greece is beautiful. The people suck, though (I have lots of family over there, and I feel this way). Rude, they hate Americans yet lust after everything American (music, clothes, movies, books, etc)...hypocrites. And it's a socialist paradise, if you like WICKED inefficient service at restaurants, stores, hotels, etc. And since they are on the Euro now, everything is super expensive (when they were on the drachma it was DIRT CHEAP). I'm extremely proud of my heritage but also thankful everyday I am an American!!

So my advice, don't go, same goes for you Paul!!!!

As a Greek-American, I'm inclined to echo Insatiable's sentiment: they hate Americans but they love our money and stuff. Go figure. BUT I would say it IS worth a visit or two. I'd love to go back soon myself.
