Certainly a tough pick tonight. I'm going with Paul though. He was all over the place making plays. I loved the way he finished at the rim and got his teammates involved.

Perk he anchors our defense. Another 4 block game to go along with 10pts and 9 boards with 3 asts!

You have just been Perk'd!!!

I love Perkins. But I've never seen Ray Allen look this good in two straight games.
With his ankles, age, and injury history I'll give him the cigar while he can still earn it.
Fantastic stuff from him.
Perkins is looking like our best defender out there.

I think the refs are letting him play a little more cause he is playing the exact same way minus the dumb screen fouls.

I had to go with Pierce. Had some really good numbers, plus only one TO. Plus Paul was something like a +18 leading the team when he was on the court.

Re: Victory Cigar: Cs vs Thunder
The numbers are really close between Ray and Pierce, with Allen maybe having a slightly better game because of FG%...but my eyes told me Pierce was the best player last night.

Winner is Ray Allen. Calling it now so I don't have to edit the gamethread again.

Damn this is a tough one. I went with Perk for the reason that he started the run in th 2 quarter with is nasty D. Everything changed after a couple of blocked shots.

Re: Victory Cigar: Cs vs Thunder
If I could make a suggestion, it would be to include choices like "Balanced team effort", "Entire Starting Unit", "The Bench" when one of those conditions seem appropriate. I thought last night it was a balanced team effort much moreso than an individual. Great spread of rebounds through the starters, Rondo 11 assists was great, bench scoring was good. Given the need to select 1 person, I chose Pierce because he seemed to be the glue between the starters and the bench, watching his +- through the game he was noticably ahead of the other starters.

Re: Victory Cigar: Cs vs Thunder
Great team effort
A beat down-----my favorite type of game to watch
I know it was only the thunder, but loved every minute nonetheless
I'll go with Rondo; he pushed the pace and made it hard for OKC to guard us; his facilitating (not just assists) and all around leadership was exceptional

Re: Victory Cigar: Cs vs Thunder
I went with Paul for the play making on the second unit, it has really cleaned up an ugly spot for this team.
As for Dave_From_NB's suggestion, while appropriate at times when we started it we kind of realized that it would be a default and when it isn't the automatic winner then it just 3rd candidates the whole poll. Just one vote but I don't like it.
