Yeah, that was right around the time we re-acquired Antoine in '05 and went on our first string of games before returning home for his big re-introduction (and Big Al gave him back the #8). During the waning minutes of the game (after it was well out of reach for Phoenix), Pierce was sent to the FT line and did the fist bump/forehead thing to mock Quentin. I distinctly remember D'antoni getting himself ejected while Paul was doing it.

Of course, the irony in this whole situation is the Knick forum overreacting to the whole thing. They've already started an 9-page thread dedicated solely to this topic, channeling their inner Chuck Swirskys and tossing around the "classless" tag. The fact that this word is being bandied about a single season after the most pathetic display of immaturity and ineptitude for a collective franchise in NBA history is lost on most of their posters.

And I haven't even mentioned the yapping, instigating, jumping-on-teammates-in-the-shower-for-owed-money lapdog that is Nate Robinson yet. How Leon Powe of all people becomes the recipient of their collective wrath is hilarious.

The first comment I highlighted, you hit it right on the head. Irony is not a currency the Knicks or their fans seem to have much of...neither is intelligence!

As for your second comment, I agree them going after Leon is a riot, but I'm a little perturbed by the image of a dude jumping on nekkid teammates in the shower...
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

Well looks like he's going to get his wish(somewhat):
NY out: Randolph, Crawford
NY in: Harrington, Tim Thomas & Mobley

GSW out:Harrington
GSW in:Crawford

LAC out:Thomas & Mobley
LAC in:Randolph

those are just what I've seen so far, it may end up being more players.
What a coup for Donnie Walsh, wish they still had Isiah running the show, they may have have a legit shot at a 2010 fa now.
Zach,Kaman&Camby on the same team? somethings gotta give there, probably another deal around the bend for them.
Don Nelson is ba****t crazy. The Warriors will throw out a starting lineup of 4sg's and a small center.

looks like it's just harrington for crawford straight up.

good deal for both, but hte W's win imo. crawford is almost a textbook nellie player, while nellie had no use for harrington. knicks lost their leading scorer but gained some size, defense, and versatility.

Yeah, makes you wonder what was the point of trading for Camby if it was evident prior to this season that the Clippers were interested in Randolph. Now that you've Randolph, perhaps you should be trading Camby as oppose to Kaman. Kaman's contract is much (who's isn't), but Camby's the older player and has the more movable contract. I think of Kaman as being a nice young and starting quality center in the league in the same tier as a Biedrins, Bogut, Dalembert and Chandler. So, they should keep him and continue to build with young talent as they've Thornton and those with potential in Gordon and DeAndre Jordan.

I like Camby but I would move him and Ricky Davis for another veteran at guard or forward to provide leadership for the Clippers to go with Baron Davis.
