BBD doesnt need lift to have a good jumpshot. he is a spot shooter. His massive frame creates the space between him and the defender. I think he is a very serviceable big guy off the bench. Pat O'B on the other hand is just bad.

Well if BBD is going to start taking set shots, he needs more arc on it!
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

The one big intangible with Baby is how he is able to spread and keep bigs out of the paint. Guys like Z, Shaq (not that he'll matter). POB doesn't begin to give us that.

POB doesn't give us ANYTHING right now except a warm, breathing body on the bench...

I think PJ Brown must have taught Big Baby how to shoot, they both have that flat shot. The only difference is that PJ's went in!

BBD has a knack for grabing rebounds, drawing fouls when he gets the ball, having great hands for receiving passes, and is developing as an 17 foot threat on the floor. That threat compliments 3 of our best rotation players in Rondo,TA, and Powe who need someone for spacing.

Also after Perk, Baby can play the Center the best because they may be taller then him but that doesn't matter much if they can't push they're way to 5 feet from the basket.

We do unfortunately look like we really need a vet big. We would benefit a lot more if we spent Scal's money wisely. Imagine if we had Foster instead of Scal coming off our bench.

Luckiely it looks like beside House and Scal we aren't burdened by many wastefull contracts. Unfortunately there were a few vet min signings that would of helped us a lot right now. Rather then a nothing in O'Byrant and an unneccessary above vet min 2 year guarantee deal with House.
