The surprising thing is mostly people would probably have said that league wide,
power forward was the Celtics best position, but it turns out to be shooting guard.
The second thing, when you actually look at the individual NET PER's, is that the drop off
after the top 8 players (starters + Tony + Eddie + Leon)
is so great is that if the Celtics can get
decent improvements over Glen Davis (Mutombo)
and a bench scorer to replace Scalabrine or Pruitt;
then they would be exponentially more difficult to deal with.
Right now, the weak links are Davis, Scalabrine and Gabe Pruitt;
who are the 9th, 10th and 11th men,
but who are a marathon behind the 8th man (Leon Powe).
