Hard schedule-next 10 games-starting with LAL!

Post#1 » by klemen4 » Wed Dec 24, 2008 8:58 am

I posted a threat one month ago Easy schedule-next 14 games!!!
(viewtopic.php?f=8&t=855589). Now those 14 games are behind us and the schedule in last month has been really favorable to us. We had 10 home and only 4 away games and finished 14-0. I predicted 12-2 and Im happy a was wrong.

We now stand at 27/2 so lets look the next 10 games where the schedule becomes really tough.

2 home games
8 away games

Thu 25 @ LA Lakers
Fri 26 @ Golden State
Sun 28 @ Sacramento
Tue 30 @ Portland
January
Fri 02 vs Washington
Sun 04 @ New York
Tue 06 @ Charlotte
Wed 07 vs Houston
Fri 09 @ Cleveland
Sun 11 @ Toronto

Home games:

We play only Washington and Houston. Was is a win, Hou will be hard game but will be theirs 4 road game in a row on back to back, so we should prevail.

Away games:

We have 3 away games at the best home teams in nba (LAL 15-1, CLE 17-0 and POR 10-2), If we win 2/3 it would be great. All tree will be close so it is hard to predict, but I think we will win Por and one of the Lal/Cle.

We then have 2 games against non playoff Eastern teams Golden State and Sacramento. Golden state is on back to back, but with our defense we should win both so 2/2.

The other 3 away games will be against non playoff Eastern Conference teams and all tree we should win, but we play 3 very specific teams. NY is fast run and gun team and are pretty good at MSG, so if they hit hose trees they are dangerous. Charlotte is becoming one of better defensive teams and was always hard opponent at home. Toronto should bounce back by then and is will be hard to beat at home. So my prediction here is 2/3.

The final record of the next 10 games so could be 8/2...putting us at 35/4.

On the first sight my prediction looks optimistic, but I believe we can do it.

The way we are playing now, I wouldn't be surprised if we go 14-0...omg Imagine that...seriously...with this team everything is possible. I'm gonna be a homer and say we can do this.. the hardest game will be tomorrow. When not IF but when we beat the Fakers, then we can move on and just destroy the Warriors. Back to back, very hard but ANYTHINGSSSSSSSSSSSSS POSSSSSSSSSSIBLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

If the Celtics win all 10 and stand at 37-2, they will only have to go 4 -1 to match the 72 Bulls start.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

This will be the test of whether we win 70:

2/11 @New Orleans Hornets
2/12 @Dallas Mavericks
2/19 @Utah Jazz
2/22 @Phoenix Suns
2/23 @Denver Nuggets
2/25 @Los Angeles Clippers

Well we lost the first one, but lets go..gsw next

Hard loss but, looking at 3 things...
-officiating
-poor bench play
-unaggressive rondo
..we just could not win this game in LA.

Well we should have won both the LAL and GSW games...I do think, however, we can run the table up to the Cleveland game...
It's still 17 to 11!!!!
