Re: trade idea Bos/Chi (lets get Drew Gooden)
No thanks. Gooden has never done anything for me, and I think I know why. He's a really ineffective player with a low basketball IQ. He might look like he's doing a lot out there sometimes, but he really doesn't affect the game like he should.
That's not to say I don't think we should make a trade, though. I'm pretty much totally fed up with TA, and Baby isn't doing much for me right now. Scal is Scal, and can stay as far as I'm concerned,as long as he's used like he should be. He plays within his limitations,at least, and is fairly intelligent out there. He's a good third string player to have.
I personally hope we sign Joe Smith, play Pruitt a little more in Tony's place, and maybe make a trade for another decent veteran.

This team is in no place to move TA, unless they can get a swing man back. TA is one of the most frustrating people I've ever seen on the Celtics.

Although Drew Gooden is really annoying, I'd be calling for a revolt against John Paxson if I were a Bulls fan and he traded for Baby, Scal, and TA. For a team with an 85% win percentage we sure do have a lot of crap on the roster.

Chicago already has a plethora of guards and are weaker upfront (they aren't going to downgrade from Gooden to Baby, they need quality, not quantity there, they already have enough scrubs in Noah, Thomas, and Gray), they would never do this deal.
Also:
This.
If we don't get a wing back, there's no point in moving TA. We already are lacking at the 3, we don't need another hole on the wing. Plus, Gooden doesn't exactly fill too much of a need. He's not that effective at the 5 and we already have Powe at the 4.
