OT: What do you eat when you go to the Garden?

I personally like the Muchos Nachos or chicken finger basket w/ a souvenier soda, it sucks they got rid of the Large sodas from last year.

Agreed. I usually get a souvenier soda and a soft pretzel or hot dog to share with my wife, but for actual meals we eat either outside the Garden or somewhere on the road before we get into Boston...
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

I eat at a restaurant before the game. I'm cheap and never buy food inside a sporting event. Plus I can't drink beer so I hit up a bar for some hard alcohol. Cap'n & Coke FTW!

That is when you bring in little nips of Captain to the game and buy a coke.

That is true. By the time I get to the game though I'm pretty toasty so I don't want to over do it and not remember the game. :)

Same here...my wife and I usually hit up a restaurant somewhere on the way to the game and then just buy a (relatively) cheap snack to share during halftime...

 The one right before the escalators? Nice.

It was a ritual that we would ALWAYS go to hooters down the street before the game. But now that it is closed down, we usually find a bar/restaurant around the garden.

It's not only that the food inside is expensive, but the lines are too ridiculous. I hate missing parts of the game. If anything though, I will get the souvenir soda.

Yeah, whats up with that? The Hooters in Salem and Nashua NH closed down too.

That is so heartbreaking that was the cheapest best option before a game it was so easy to get in and out of there.

If I recall Porters is near bye that isn't too bad.

In the Arena the good stuff is in the restaurant and it isn't anymore pricey than the crap at the stands, I love running in there at half time having your food and beer waiting for you, that may be a garden member perk though I am not sure. From the food stands I guess I go with whatever is near the Sam's or Guiness stand, probably a pizza or sausage.

I'm surprised no ones bringing up boston beer works. There's nothing like an afternoon game followed by a beer and a burger. There's also nothing like a beer and a burger followed by an afternoon game.

I agree with pretty much everything being said, the lines are too long, food's too expensive and for the most part terrible. Still, when you see that pretzel in its salty, day old glory it is tough to resist. Also, like Prophet C, I don't drink beer, so depending on where I'm sitting at I might have to trek halfway around the arena, boo to that while you're half in the wrapper, my trusty flask usually solves that problem though.
