Doc not taking advantage of match ups

everyone knows the nba is a game of matchups. Last night Ray Allen was the match up to go to. every time ray put the ball on the floor and drove to the middle he had a wide open look. I like delonte but if Doc had said to Ray we're going to you tonight and you take 30 shots we would have been much better off that trying to run our "balanced offense' where rajon rondon decides he is the primary scorer. pierce clearly had nothing left on O last night after trying to guard LeBron so Ray should have been the go to guy. I also think KG on the block against wallace or varejao was a matchup we didn't exploit. As Van Gundy said why are the celtics bringing garnett out of the post to try and run pick and roll with rondo. why not just pass the ball to kg in the post. I thought we overpassed like crazy last night especially in close to the basket. no doubt lebron had an impact with his shot blocking. there are times when rondo has a break away that he just doesn't go all out to the hoop. I don't think lebron should be able to catch him from behind so that's either an unbelievable effort from lebronor our guys just aren't playing with enough urgency. There really was no excuse for pierce giving lebron wide open uncontested 3's. overall I put this loss on our starters and not the bench. the starters are the ones that gave up 33 in the 1st qtr and they were also on the floor when cleveland blew it out. we need some serious practice time because we look like garbage right now
