Why would you trade Tony and give minutes to Gabe? that is insane. We don't even know if Gabe can play in the NBA.

You don't do stupid things like that. We need known quantities. I have no interest in finding out if Gabe/Walker/Giddens can play at this level or not. We need some more vet role players. That's what this team is moving.

That and some athleticism and length as well as a shooter and a ballhandler.

The Big 3 are non tradable if the team wants to remain competitive..
Other than Powe, Perkins,Rondo, Big Baby and House none of the other players have any trade value..

Good luck Danny Ainge in getting a trade or Stephan..I think neither is going to happen..

What GM Danny Ainge wants is a shooter off the bench, but he’s struggling to find one. League sources say he made a bid for the Orlando Magic’s J.J. Redick recently, a guard he’s long coveted, but an offer of J.R. Giddens and Gabe Pruitt couldn’t come close to prying Redick. What’s more, Orlando isn’t motivated to fortify the Celtics. Suddenly, the Magic believe they can beat Boston. League executives say Ainge has become more persistent this week in searching out deals, but as a Western Conference executive said, “He just doesn’t have any players that anyone wants.”

That's a pretty fair assesment IMO - not necessarily the thing about the Magic being able to beat the Celts but as far as the lack of attractive trade bait.
