I think I'll give it to KG. Totally efficient night: 16pts., 7reb., 3 asts., 4 stls., 1 blk., 0 turnovers on 7-10 FG in 25 mins.
Honorable mention goes to Rondo for another aggressive performance.
Ray shot 4 of 5 from three tonight.
The captain had 8 rebounds and 8 assists.
Overall a great team effort to blow-out one of the top teams in the league.

I'll go with Rondo here. Rajon is developing confidence in that top of the key jumper and if he keeps improving his shot (and gain's more confidence in it), it will be funny to watch Mo Williams try to guard him in the ECF. As Rondo goes, so do the Celtics (cannot be overstated enough).
One question: How does Amare not set up shop in the paint with Scal covering him? His performance tonight was laughable at best.

tough one, probably rondo with the edge
Baby deserves a mention for his play tonight, obviously not the best on court but his hustle, and defense on shaq was huge

What, no Scal? He played some great D on Amare!

Believe it or not, before KG was traded to the Celtics, there were some rumors that he could be headed to Phoenix for either Amare or Marion. The general consensus of Suns fans were:
1. No Effin' way!
2. Amare >>>>>>>>>>> KG
3. Marion >>>>>>> KG

Re: Victory Cigar 1/19 vs. Suns
I voted for KG.
I thought he had the best game, Rondo second, Ray third.
Actually, putting Pierce and Davis on the list is a disservice to the other 3,
who truly had great games,
although Pierce had a nice start.
Garnett and Scal kept the game under control early with their defense on
Shaq and Amare,
kept them from getting off and the Suns from establishing a rhythym.
Folks may scratch their head and wonder why Ray's man, season long,
has the lowest PER of any Celtic opponent,
but after another disappearing act by Ray's man
it's more than a coincidence after 43 games.
He just doesn't get the recognition,
like Pierce didn't last year,
that he's playing individual D this year
(and Ray's was pretty damn good last year).

I voted Ray because he's really good right now. But I think KG would have been as deserving as him for PotG.

I went with Rondo, it was real close between Rajon and KG. Either way very nice win for the Celtics.

Obviously lots of guys play well when you box someone by 30 in the first half but Rondo must have Steve Nash wondering if he belongs in the NBA anymore.
