KG might be injured ??

Post#1 » by DieselCeltic » Mon Jan 26, 2009 5:18 pm

After the game, he did his interview with that chick then as he was walking in the tunnel he was visibly limping, heavily limping...

Did anyone notice this ?

Yes I did. It was hard to tell anything from it because the view was so brief.

Maybe he was just stiff from sitting on the bench for so long.

wow. i noticed that too.. but KG usually walks like that. Not always, but usually. I mean come on, you've probably seen at least 50 of those 5-15 sec clips of him walking back.

especially after the game. he's a little sore. That's how he always walks back, win or loss, with his head down focused, and is hand up to catch the high-5s of the fans on top of the tunnel.

but it certainly is plausible that he's hurt.

kg always looks tired. from the start of games, even before tip off he is sweating bullets. and during games, he sometimes walks back up the court very slowly and he does that thing where he breathes like he's doing yoga or something...breathes really hard.

i noticed that limp, but to me it looked worse than his usual slow walking thing. he was visibly limping, but i'm 22 and i do that after sitting in class for 3 hours straight, so maybe he was just stiff.

hopefully its nothing. he looked great out there and energetic with at least 3 alley oops last night.

I notised, but he was in similar condition in last games...I dont know which games it was, but they showed him also on the end and he was walking the same way.

It would be wise to rest him this week (he can mis Sacramento game at home, why not)...and play him only on friday...5 days off would be good

Bot on the other hand we know KG...he want to play regardless of the opponents and his condition

Let's all hope it's all about his gangsta walk and not some injury :)

But like klemen said, it would be a wise idea to rest KG and even PP ...or ray ray.. as we face these .500 or bellow teams I don't see a reason why we have to even play our big three... a line up of

Rondo
Perk
Scal
pp OR Ray Ray
Walker

should be fine.

I saw that too and I think it's due to the fact that he had an ice bag on that knee, not because he injured that knee during the game. I think I've seen him limping after games other times as well, and that's probably because he ices that knee during blowouts.

the funny part about ice bags is during the spurs/lakers game right after the celtics, about 4 players on the lakers team were sitting on the bench for most of the fourth quarter and all were wearing these massive wraps of ice around their knees.

kobe/gasol/either odom or bynum and then Luke Walton....ha. Van Gundy made a smart remark about Luke freaking Walton...he played 15 minutes! sometimes i love van gundy. he says things you are thinking but probably won't say out load.

he's been nursing a sore leg ever since he got hit there. Pierce is also hurting probably as are other guys. It's the NBA and it's a long season

I heard KG has in the past had trouble with knee tendinitis. I have tendinitis in my knee as well, and after its had time to sit after being hot from basketball, it gets stiff and sore.

Just one of the many characteristics me and KG share.

I'm pretty sure it was KG's Crip Walk. He forgot to dust those shoes off though.
