Rip out?

Post#1 » by Gant » Thu Jan 29, 2009 11:54 pm

It's nothing as violent as that title may make it seem, but Rip Hamilton might not play tomorrow night in Detroit. He has reaggravated a groin injury and his status is unclear for the Friday game.

Detroit is much less worrisome for Boston since Chauncey left town. There was the guy that held the Pistons together and was also a really tough match up for Rondo.

I'm sure Joe Dumars (who knows what he's doing) is setting his team up capwise for the future, but in the short term trading Billups for Iverson really hurts what has been a very impressive Piston team.

He's probably faking it---like the elbow in the ECF last year.

i dont know .... i dont want our boys to think the stones are that less worrisome. have to come our strong (unlike vs Sac) and maintain and finish strong. these ain't the kings, and they are definitely a pretty determined bunch. keep AI and stuckey shooting cold and we should be ok ....
