Also Pruitt is a better player than TA my opinion but with more play I think everyone else would see it as well. Scal, WHO CARES! People were ready to let this guy go now he is a major part of the team HAHAHAHAHA! Powe is the only loss but we get Darko who is as good if not better.

So in the playoffs, who do you propose guards Joe Johnson, Dwyane Wade, Lebron James, Kobe Bryant, etc. off the bench to give Paul/Ray a breather or if they are in foul trouble? Pruitt has no chance against these guys. Neither does House, or would Marbury or anybody else we have (don't know about GIddens but him not playing so far isn't a good sign of him contributing this year). TA may be overrated with his defense, but at worst he is still our 2nd best perimeter defender behind Pierce. Yeah we did well with TA out, but Ray/Pierce had to also log in a lot of minutes during that stretch because there's was no suitable wing defender off the bench unless it was a small 2 (Pruitt) or a slow 3 (Scal). It's like saying that we are undefeated with Scal starting at center so he should start over Perk and then our backup center problems are solved! Just because we played well without TA doesn't mean that we won't need him (or another good perimeter defender) come playoff time.

Fair enough, but I still do the deal maybe we could get Ross in the deal.

I didnt even think about this but what if Perk goes down with the shoulder injury in the playoffs, who's your center then? Powe, Baby, POB. They would get eaten up bye Howard, Bynum, Z. If you play KG there you are not goin to get much o from him. So its a pick your poison type of deal and I like my poison from Europe!

If Marbury was lined up already, id trade anything and everything on our bench but House, Baby and Walker for Warrick and Darko..

I actually think Memphis has a few guys we should be looking at, wonder if they would be interested

Marbury
House
Warrick/Walker
Davis/Warrick
Darko

Can someone tell me why Memphis did this trade? Trade a 7 footer for ... Scal, Tony and a 6'7 backup PF?

i really like the deal but i'm hesitant to include TA.

i think darko will revive his career alongside kg. darko plays hard on both ends that's why he still has potential to be really good.

i think a better deal is powe/POB/giddens/scal for darko

we get that defensive, long center who can also score at times.

the grizz get a low post threat who could do well with their big guy in the middle and their very athletic sf. giddens and pob are young and will get a chance in this team

perk/darko
kg/bb
pp/TA/walker
allen/house
rondo/pruitt

gasol/arthur/pob
powe/warrick
gay/miles/scal
mayo/giddens/ross
lowry/conley
