PJ Brown was one of the main reasons we have the 17th. His Finals were plain brilliant. And anyone who does not realize this fact simply does not know what this game is all about.
Period.

Seriously,

In the postseason we were more than 17 pts worse per 100 possessions with PJ on the court versus on the bench.

And that is despite the fact that he played many of his minutes alongside KG and other starters.

People remember game 7 versus the Cavs and a few plays where he looked solid, they forget the stretches where he missed layups and struggled on the boards. A large part of what he brought us was veteran composure, and we don't need that as much now.
