A friendly tap after a BS foul was just called against you? Riiiiiiiggggghtttttttttt.

I'm sure you're really a big-time Celtics fan while calling our best player a douche. Take that **** to the Lakers forum.

Because there's no place for that in the NBA. It was blatant and the referees could've tossed Odom from the game. Why try to punk Garnett like that? That's childish bleep.

I'm sorry, but this action by Odom pales in comparison to the unncessary taunt clapping that KG pulled in front of Calderon's face.

Now, everyone knows Odom is a nice guy, and he means no harm. What Odom was probably thinking when he slapped KG was something like "Aha..I got the best of you and I won this confrontation" (due to the foul called on KG). Next time, brotha".

My favorite team is the Lakers; my second is the Celtics.

Sigh.

Agreed...get the **** over that incident..and if you can't stand it (Calderon) then you shouldn't be in the NBA with the emotional makeup of a little kid...

Ok, I don't want to bring this up again. Can you not say the same thing to KG? If KG can't stand it, then he shouldn't be in the NBA. I'm not saying KG can't. Just trying to prove your point is mute. It's just funny that people make a deal out of nothing with Lamar slapping someone on the ass. Who the hell cares. And yes it was a friendly tap, cuz Lamar is just that crazy.

KG is not the best player on the Celtics. It's Paul Pierce. KG may have better stats, but it's Paul Pierce who always comes up big in the 4th when the C's are down. It's Paul Pierce who shut down Kobe one one one in the Feb 5 game (those 3 threes by Kobe were just pure luck).

And even if KG is the best player on the Celtics, he's still a douche for acting the way he's acted this year. Paul Pierce and Ray Ray are class acts compared to KG.

And yes that was a friendly tap. Lamar is like that.

Come one greens   , that same Soft West coast Vagina owns the two top seeded teams in the east 2 games to none. Right???

But back to the thread at hand, I thought it was a funny gesture by Lamar slapping K.G and Im sure he told K.G come on Kevin lets ball up and stop grabbing me, but K.G being K.G wanted to punk Lamar out, and we all witnessed what happened after that.

Also this is to Kefa as well, that same punk ass nobody Lamar has stepped up his last 10 games and he has played above and beyond an allstar performance for us specially when it came to beating both the Celtics and the Cavs in all four games.
True that I wished he was consistant all the time, but hey I cant seriously sit here and complain that he hasnt been doing a good job for us lately.

I can't believe a non Celtics fan is going to compare taunting with actually physically putting your hands on another player. It isn't the same thing. I don't condone a lot of Garnett's behavior or questionable things he does toward opponents. But, when have you ever watched Garnett randomly put his hands on another player apparently for no reason? I'll say you haven't...

I think Odom has the talent to be a perennial All-Star. However, like Derrick Coleman, he doesn't have the personality make up. And he doesn't always have it working up stairs or he has an average basketball IQ. And he's immature.

What is he thinking sometimes?

I am never amazed at some of the idiotic things that are said by opposing fans (specifically LAL fans) regarding KG. I guess they're just still hurt that they didn't get KG in a trade and still a lil hurt that they lost to KG in the finals last season. I would prolly be over it by now, but I guess its still a lil bit too sensitive so you have to make stupid comments on a message board where you are anonymous. I'd love to see anyone on any message board say one thing to KG in real life. heck, I'd love to see someone who talks trash on message boards say something negative to a player like Scal or Kirk Hinrich, etc. Even Scal would kick the crap out of you.

  You take one thing that was a sportsman like gesture to labeling L.O into some douche bag specailly with the all your youtube links to back up your claims............

The last time I recall slapping some one on the ass during a sporting event was a common gesture to either congradulate someone for a job well done or try to motivevate someone into stepping up and getting something done.

I didnt know it was different in the East Coast that it would actually be considered " taunting with actually physically putting your hands on another player'  WOW, your kidding me??

Also apperently he does have it working upstair if he was able to close out K.G in both of our meetings as well as the last game we played the Cavs with 28points and 16 rebounds, so I think he is doing something right, isnt he??

I dont know how your going to take this BUT, actually most Lakers fans including myself are very glad we didnt get K.G.
I mean its not like we didnt get Ariza, and Pau.
You guys are looking to far into this whole ass slapping thing, it was a sportsman like gesture but lets get real here, its not about K.G its not about him coming to LA it wasnt a taunting gesture or L.O trying to start a fight with K.G........... It was just a slap on the ass from one player to another.

KG walking away instead of beating Odom's sissy-ass was a smart move, so I don't get your (supposed) logic...

Bingo.

I thought this incident was pretty funny, actually. It reminded me a little of the incident between Rodman and Malone about 10 years ago when they kept slapping each others ass back and forth (really hard) to show who was tougher... lol.

If KG did this to Lamar there would probably be about 5 10 page threads on the general discussion talking about how KG should be banned from the NBA. But since Odom did it all we have is this thread with Lakers fans flocking to defend the clearly bull action.
