what about rasho?

He could likely be bought out in Indy, he's avg 8pts 3.5 rbs this yea.r Rasho played with KG in Minny, won a ring with Duncun and I think he'd great with us. It'll be interesting what Ainge does if Rasho is bought out first will he go after him. I'd love to have both Rasho & Smith but wont happen.

If he gets bought out he would likely go back with Duncan in SA.

Why would they buy him out? Why would he want to be bought out? The guy is starting caliber center in the NBA and is 32 years old. If he takes a buy out he loses his bird rights and a S&T may be his best chance to land a good salary this year as teams try to fill needs without adding salary. Teams also have to maintain roster minimums.

I think the buyouts are going to come from players who are willing to split the difference on multi year deals to get out of a stiuation that has gone the wrong way, similiar to Damon Stoudamire in Memphis a year ago. Etan Thomas and Mike James in Washington or maybe Luke Ridnour in MIL. If these guys take half their salary for next season the team can get below the lux tax threshold and they can go to a playoff team and likely make up the difference in FA.
