Garnett could have Jumper's knee or patellar tendinopathy(patellar tendon strain), he was able to play for a few weeks with slight pain but worsened with gradual overuse, I could be wrong but his symptoms denote he has this particular injury

By the way he could try it out at halftime, I feel that the Celts were playing very cautious by keeping him out, would be playing in a playoff

you know what?? I know we still don't have Bynum and we really don't know when he's coming back, but if you guys don't have Garnett it wouldn't be fair and the season wouldn't be as fun at all

So as much as I hate Garnett since he got to the Celtics, I'm going to go ahead and wish him a quick recovery.

Peace out

Hoping KG's injury isn't serious...

It sure was weird to see him come up hopping like that when the take-off and landing looked perfectly normal...
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

The All-Star forward strained his right knee late in the first half of a game at Utah on Thursday night and did not return. The Jazz rallied to beat the Celtics 90-85 and Boston coach Doc Rivers said afterward that the decision to rest Garnett was an easy one.

''I'd rather see what we can do without him these (next) couple of games, try to get him healthy and then go from there,'' Rivers said.

Garnett released a statement, saying he would have the knee re-examined on Friday and get an idea of when he could return. Boston doesn't play again until Sunday, but Rivers said the Celtics would rather have Garnett healthy for the playoffs as they defend the NBA title.

Hopefully its nothing serious and he's only out for a few games. We have won without KG this year, so I'm not worried in the short term. Just get him healthy for the playoffs. The last thing we need is one part of the big three being out for a significant amount of time. Great now Scal starts again and now he can get five more concussions. Please Doc, get some common sense and start Powe.
