I know but Mikki Moore???
I mean the guy I think hasnt even averaged over 10ppg his entire career, he cant board, he rpg is around 3, he gets in foul trouble a lot, and to top it off, lets say he is signed, who's minutes is he going to take up......... Babies, correct??? Now to me Baby has done a decnet job, he has a very decent jumper 8-10 feet, he plays hard D on the Bigs. So where is Mikki going to contribute.

Lolllllllllllll.............. Na Joe........ I dont really play video games other than when I visit my nephews, they always sucker me into playing all the Leggo ones you know Batman, Starwars, Indiana Jones.................lolllllllllllllll But I was never a fan of video games. I will look into it see if my nephews have that game or not.

Well I guess the Lakers have nothing to worry about from the bench of the C's then...... 8-)

I don't see or at least don't like the idea of Moore taking Big Baby's mins at least not against real centers.

I think mins will come from all around, we have match up problems with long athletic PF's, outside of Garnett we just don't have that guy. Moore can also be sort of an offensive compliment to KG upfront when Perk just isn't getting it done, he will allow them to stay long and get out in transition.

I think that all of the back up bigs Boston has Baby, Powe, and Scal all do some good things but beyond have holes in their game I hate the tandem of any of the three together. Powe and Scal get overmatched on the blocks, Baby and Scal is a really unathletic combo and not very potent at anything, Baby and Powe are just really short and foul prone. Moore will also give this team a finisher that we don't really have outside of Garnett, for a team in the top 10 in points in the paint you would think you would have more than 5% of your attempts be dunks.

It would be great to have that one guy but that isn't going to happen so the only other option is to piece it together and that will just put a lot on Doc to make the right calls.

This situation is difficult to get a read on because Steph is crazy and Walsh has a tendency to overplay his hand.

Two questions are left unanswered at this point.

Does Steph really want to be bought out or is he just as happy chilling out in LA and trying to get a contract in the offseason?

For him to join Boston or any other contender right now is a 25 game referendum on him as a player, if it doesn't go well he is playing on the minimum next season, on the other hand he could do what Tim Thomas did in PHX and steal money for another 4 years.

How much are the Knicks willing to sacrifice to stop Marbury from playing on their dime?

Today is possibly going to be an embarrassing day for their Head Coach, if Marbs wins the arbitration and players almost always win these types of things. Vin Baker was drunk at work and their were concerns that Boston would lose. Whatever the outcome if Steph really cares about playing this season and doesn't have a buyout at this point he tells the Knicks either cut me or I am coming to work today and instead of a playoff run for the 8th seed they get a month and a half of Marbury talk and lawsuits from the Union, that simply become about damages in 4 days.

Steph has pretty much been consistent since early November saying that
his strategy will be to sit and wait out the Knicks,
and not cave on his sophisticated and savvy demand
for $1 million off his base salary, since modified by offering
in addition the $400,000 being disputed in arbitration.

There has been inconsistencies in the reporting,
which seems to be manipulated by the Knicks,
in that their $3 million December demand
dropped to $2 million a month ago,

and now Marc Berman is suggesting that the Knicks
want $2 to $3 million from Steph,
which is amateurish to backup,
and seems to be a tactic to get Steph to cave from his well reasoned strategy
that even the craftiest agents could not improve upon.

It seems that reports that Celtics have "pressured" Steph to give up more
are indications that the Knicks disinformation strategy is working,
thanks to the easily manipulated print journalists.

If Steph stays true to his form,
and just shuts up,
sits still, and waits,
he either gets paid in full,
or the Knicks accept his offer,
save $2.4 million ($1 million salary, $1 million luxury tax, $400,000 arbitration suit abandoned),
avoid a Union lawsuit against the NBA which I'm certain David Stern would rather not defend,
and be done with recanting the embarrassing testimony that will come out
if the depositions provided in arbitration today are made public.
If anything, it would strongly indicate that Knicks coach Mike D'Antoni
is a liar on more than one issue.

So, good luck, Steph, and just sit this out and wait for the Knicks to make the move.
Worst that happens to you is you collect your normal salary of $21 million for this year.

Actually, my biggest fear is that the Lakers,
silent until now,
realize that they have no one who can defend Rajon Rondo,
and make a last minute offer to Steph,
offering him the starting job over Derek Fisher.

Not expected, but a way to keep Steph away
from the Celtics.

Possible first round matchup? You think the Knicks want to lose to a team they are paying a PG to play for?

Think about it.

Ok by multiple requests locking this thread as there is no evidence showing it is true. No link provided, purely baseless rumor.
