Marbury was simply huge in the NJ win.
I'm starting to really come around to this guy. I think he's going to cause some real problems for the other teams come playoff time. His defense is surprisingly good.
House is getting great looks. Marbury makes the other players better.
This is going to be fun to watch.
Tommy says he's holding his offense back to fit in. If it were up to me, he's fitting in. Let's see what you still got, Stephon. You're a Celtic. Your fitting in fine and House at well 43% on threes is not threatened. Come on, what have you got left in the tank?
Or maybe we should save it for when we need it.

Re: Marbury
It looks like Marbury is finally getting his legs back. He is moving really well. His speed and quickness are coming back. His shot will be coming back soon also. I'm impressed with his play making and his defense.

Also besides Marbury starting to play better, Mikki Moore is doing the same thing. His defensive positioning is getting much better as he is getting used to his teammates and the defense we run. His rebounding is getting better as well. I wonder if Tommy talked to him about his rebounding during the 5 days off, as I mentioned to Wyc.

Re: Marbury
If we are healthy this year we are better than last year. Marbury is a beast and an assist machine...can you imagine when powe gets back and gets those dimes from Marbury. He is going to be dunking on everyone.
I can't wait for us to get healthy. When we get healthy we are going to be stacked at all positions for the most part. My only worry is that by the time everyone gets their basketball legs back it might be a little too late. But overall i'm confident with Marbury taking our bench from average to above avg.

Re: Marbury
Mikki plays well against really weak, young inside teams. Period. He's oliveoilish against decent post players.
What a shooting touch, though.

Stephon has been GREAT lately----just what we need in the playoffs---Teams cannot sleep on him AND Rondo for 48 minutes.
