Reality check for the Celtic's and US, the Fans!

Post#1 » by DieselCeltic » Mon Apr 13, 2009 8:06 pm

I will take my sweet time to write a nearly perfect thread here, so bare with me please. :D

How do some of you expect Celtics to beat Cleveland ? because we are better then them ? or is it because we have 3 aging HOF who will take us to that next level. ? I don't understand how some of you won't be true with yourself and just admit and asure that we will not be celebrating in June.

Things to remember:

It took us 20 games in the playoffs to get to the finals. 7 to Cleveland, 7 to Atlanta and 6 to Detroit. This was while we had the HCA throughout the playoffs. This was also when we had that guy....oh whats his name.......James Posey and PJ Brown...it took us 20 games to reach the finals.

This year, with no Posey, No PjBrown, No healthy KG, no homecourt advantage, and you expect us to win it all...this is impossible and has never been done.

I will see many people hurt after the playoffs. But I won't be, why ? because I knew it was going to happend.

AGAIN:

No healthy KG
No Posey/Brown
No HCA

= no championship, disappointed fans.

So, how can you sit here and call me an idiot and other names ?

Celtics need to find a way to electrify the arena a bit more too...during the playoffs. I'm gettin sick and tired of lame stupid dancers, music, and nothing really that can lift up the fans...

Cavs, Phoenix, Toronto, Warriors I love their Arenas. You get chills when their crowd gets loud. And the sounds are amazing...

I hope mods will take action...

My two favorite sentences:

DieselCeltic wrote:I will take my sweet time to write a nearly perfect thread here

and

DieselCeltic wrote:this is impossible and has never been done.

Re point two: I suggest learning some NBA history. Better yet - expand to other sports as well. It's what makes athletic competition worth watching. Teams win against all odds. It happens in much more extreme situations than ours. If your argument were to be "Cleveland is the favorite" you would have sounded very reasonable but the defeatist attitude is plain pathetic.
