KG has a unique mix of physical, mental, and emotional attributes that have led him to be one of the greatest basketball players in the history of the world.

Some of those attributes are tantamount to being a nutcase. It's just part of the package.

Somewhat similar things could quite reasonably be said about Bird, Jordan, Ray Allen, and many others.

KG didn't go 1 for 12. What could KG have done to make Ray Allen shoot the ball better? Nothing. What could KG have done to help Paul make that last, game winning potential free throw? Nothing. This game is all on Paul and Ray's shoulders. There's NO way you can blame an INJURED player for the loss b/c he wouldnt sit on the bench. gimme a ******* break. We all knew this was gonna be nearly impossible without him, but don't come here and blame the guy who single handedly (basically) turned this franchise around. YOu think Boston wouldve won a title w/o him last season? if so, you're an idiot.

KG is the emotional leader of this team. The least he could do at this time is support his teammates. Leaders led in many ways, they don't leave this teammates behind and hide in the locker room.

We lost a close game. I don't blame the lose on KG. But KG has the respect of his teammates. Maybe he could have seen something on the floor and mentioned it to some of his teammates. I saw the problem with Ray's game. His shot was off, it happens. But he should have been driving to the basket at times instead of bricking from 22 feet out all game. If KG was there, maybe he should have mentioned that to him and just encourage him. It a close playoff game, anything would have helped. Sitting in the locker room helped no one of the Celtics team.

Actually, I was pointing out how stupid some people here can be and some of the things you guys come up with, like THIS thread and the topic of it, is absolutely insane. KG is freakin injured and has been the last 2 months. To even come close to blaming him for how crappy the TEAM (minus Rondo) played yesterday is beyond insane.

That's your opinion. My point is the emotional leader of the team should lead by example and not hide in the locker room. IMO KG is thinking about himself and not helping the team. That is selfish.

There are a lot of weak ass posters in the board. It's funny to me that some of you have to try to put peoples' opionions down by name calling . It shows lack of class and a low self image of yourselves.

Team aint goin nowhere without him anyways, and he knows it as well as anyone even if he won't admit it out of humility. He can't stand watching these guys play like crap and being able to do nothing about it but regurgitate the same stuff he's had to say ALL YEAR. That's what's so overated about coaching - **** is repeated so often that players should have these things hard-wired into themselves. Not need Big Brother Kevin to tell them to properly rotate and play hard in game 83. They should be able to motivate and energize themselves - it's the ****ing playoffs.
