The thing is that we are so thin that a rusty Scal is better than sending Billy Walker out there, at least at the 4. He knows the defensive rotations, and has been in playoff games before. I'm pretty sure that he has been able to shoot around enough to get some semblance of ghis shot back. At least enough to take some open threes, which is all that we really need from him.
The question isn't "How good is Veal?" it is "What are our other choices?" I'm hoping that he will help to give us some decent minutes. We need as much help as we can get. Hell, we are so desperate for bigs that Cliff Ray might to suit up.
