Pierce, can't underestimate the value of jumping on a team like that. Also the start had the effect of making John Salmons decide he was going to match Pierce and take over the game, much to my delight.

it's not the fact that pierce dropped 24, it's thef act that he had 18 in the first half (not to take away from rondo's own 16 in the half).

That's pace for 36 points and more importantly, the way he was hitting shots basically took care of the game early.

I go with Pierce simpy because I thought he came out with his "A" game if not for a few fouls I think he would have seriously gone off on them. He responds great to adversity..from what I have seen.

I think Rondo and Pierce took over the game early. 50/50.

Probuly why they had essentially the same amount of points in the first half.

If CHI had shown some fight, Pierce would have 36-40 points. Rondo would have 22 12 10

hard to chose on those statelines.

Even though his point total was good, though, I found his shooting to be rather disappointing. He played a damn good overall game but it certainly wasn't his best game and Rondo was the engine driving the team all night!

I disagree. I also think it was his best game by far. And you said it yourself. He was exceptional in every area except shooting.

Until now Baby only had good games when his jump shot was falling and bad ones when it didn`t. This is the first time when he had a great game even though he wasn`t shooting well. It showed me that he can help this team even when he can`t hit the mid range jumper and that is huge, IMO.

9 rebounds
6 assists
6 steals
3 blocks

if i didn't know any better i'd think kevin garnett was wearing a fat suit so he could get in the game.

I went with Baby, and I LOVE Rondo. Glen was simply awesome in this game and played the kind of defense which I always chided him for not playing. He has actually been very good with that for the last two games. Excellent all-around game.

Has to be Pierce IMO. He put end to the game rather quickly.
