Knickssick, your point on Bosh, Amare, Duncan, KG and Brand pushing Jefferson out of the top 5 power forwards in the league at the time of the trade wouldn't have had much of an effect on what the Twolves did because they were making the trade for the future.

By now Jefferson's value has surpassed Amare and Brand already, KG and Duncan are on the decline, and Bosh isn't that much better. It's conceivable, note I didn't say a done deal, that in two seasons no other power forward will have the value of Big Al.

And the thought that Russell buttered up Wilt is laughable.

Not just laughable, it's idiotic...not surprising, coming from Simmons. Russ *did* play mind-games with Wilt, but they weren't the kind to "make him like him"...

Honestly the KG hate from everyone outside of New England is (Please Use More Appropriate Word)...2 years ago everyone loved him for doing EXACTLY THE SAME THING...now that he's a champ, he's a dick all of a sudden? Nope...

Same thing happened to the Pats...everyone loved them after 2001, then they kept winning and became the most hated team in the country...
